Tuvalu 2018-19 Home Jersey/Shirt

£34.99

L

This is a Stingz Tuvalu national team home jersey as worn by the team throughout the 2018-19 period.

Tuvalu are an associate member of the Oceania Football Confederation but not a member of FIFA and are one of the world’s few sovereign states that have been unable to join FIFA despite numerous attempts. Tuvalu have competed at several Pacific Games tournaments and became the first non-FIFA member to participate in an official World Cup qualifying match when they competed at the 2007 Pacific Games, which was also used at the first round of regional World Cup qualifiers. Due to their lack of football infrastructure and inability of play regular matches, Tuvalu have traditionally struggled against their more-resourced opponents, however they achieved their strongest-ever results when they finished 4th of the 2017 Pacific Mini Games, recording an historic victory against regional powerhouse New Caledonia.
