St. Vincent & The Grenadines 2023-24 Home (#10- ANDERSON) Jersey/Shirt

£34.99

This is a Score Sports St. Vincent & the Grenadines national team 2023-24 home jersey featuring the number of star striker Oalex Anderson.

Saint Vincent & the Grenadines have had little success at international level, with their small population size of around 110,000 making it difficult to compete against larger opposition. Their greatest achievement to date has been finishing runner-up at the 1995 Caribbean Cup and qualifying for the 1996 CONCACAF Gold Cup. They achieved an all-time high FIFA ranking of 73 in October 2007 following a decent performance at the 2007 Caribbean Cup, however their ranking has dropped in recent years, with an all-time low of 180 recorded in 2017 & 2019.

Oalex Anderson is arguably the highest-profile player in the current Vincy Heat squad, with the 29-year-old striker having had an impressive career at both club and international level. Anderson began his club career with System 3 FC in the local SVGFF Premier Division in 2013, where he immediately showed immense potential and was the league’s top scorer in his debut season. In September 2014, System 3 loaned Anderson to Grenades FC of the Antigua and Barbuda Premier Division, where he scored 12 goals in 18 matches, attracting the interest of clubs in the United States. Anderson was signed by USL club Seattle Sounders FC 2 in March 2015 and one year later he was promoted to their first team in the MLS. He appeared semi-regularly in his one season in the MLS, however a major injury forced Anderson to take an almost four-year break from professional football. He eventually returned to playing in 2019 with his former club System 3 FC and he has since returned to the US, playing with USL clubs Richmon Kickers and North Carolina FC. At international level, Anderson has scored 20 goals in 40 matches for his country, placing him as their fifth highest all-time goalscorer.
