Phoenix Rising compete in the USL Championship, the second tier of football in the United States and are based in Phoenix, Arizona. The club were founded in 2014 as Arizona United and were later rebranded to Phoenix Rising in 2016 following a change of ownership. Since then, the club have established themselves as one of the strongest in the league, winning the USL Championship title in 2019 as well as the Western Conference Playoffs in 2018 & 2020.
