Melilla 2020-21 Home (#10) Jersey/Shirt

£29.99

This is an Adidas Melilla regional team home jersey as worn by the team throughout the 2020-21 period.

Melilla is one of two autonomous cities of Spain, located on the Morocco–Spain border as an exclave of Spain within the African mainland. Melilla was retained by Spain as an exclave when Morocco attained independence in 1956, although Morocco has never recognised Spain’s sovereignty over Melilla and has continually claimed that the territory should be part of Morocco. Melilla has a population of about 86,000, which is chiefly divided between people of Iberian and Riffian extraction. Football clubs in Melilla are included in Spain’s football pyramids, with the top club being UD Melilla, which plays in the third tier of Spanish football, the Segunda División B. The Melilla regional team represents the territory in competitions against other regions of Spain, predominately in youth tournaments organised by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
