Libya 2026 Home (ALI YOUSUF #4) Jersey/Shirt
£39.99
This is an Adidas Libya national team 2026 home jersey featuring the name and number of star defender Ali Yousuf.
Despite experiencing widespread political instability in recent years, Libya have defied the odds and achieved some of their best results during this time. Their greatest achievement was winning the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN), where they upset Ghana in the final. They later finished in 4th place at CHAN in 2018, losing the semi-final 3-1 in extra-time to eventual winners Morocco. In addition, they have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations on three occasions- in 1982, 2006 & 2012, with the team finishing runners-up as hosts of the 1982 edition.
Ali Yousuf (sometimes spelt Youssef) is one of the star players in the current generation of Libyan football. Beginning his career with Al-Ahly Benghazi, he moved abroad to Tunisia with Club Africain, where his performances earned him a transfer to FC Nantes in January 2026. The move was particularly notable given the rarity of Libyan footballers reaching one of Europe’s major leagues, with Yousuf becoming only the second Libyan player to feature in France’s Ligue 1 after Moatasem Al-Musrati. He made 13 Ligue 1 appearances for Nantes during the 2025–26 season. Yousuf made his international debut for Libya in March 2022 and has since accumulated 30 caps for his country, with the 25-year-old establishing himself as a key player for the national team, being given the captaincy in several recent matches.
