£34.99
This is an Adidas Libya national team home jersey featuring the name and number of star winger Zakaria Alharaish as worn by Libya at the 2020 African Nations Championship tournament.
Despite experiencing widespread political instability in recent years, Libya have defied the odds and achieved some of their best results during this time. Their greatest achievement was winning the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN), where they upset Ghana in the final. They later finished in 4th place at CHAN in 2018, losing the semi-final 3-1 in extra-time to eventual winners Morocco. In addition, they have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations on three occasions- in 1982, 2006 & 2012, with the team finishing runners-up as hosts of the 1982 edition.
Zakaria Alharaish is one of Libya’s most promising young footballers and the 24-year-old has been a member of the Libya national team sine debuting at just 19 years of age in 2017. Zakaria began his senior club football with Libyan giants Al-Ahli Tripoli in 2016, where he was a member of their 2015-16 Libyan Premier League title-winning squad. After showing strong form with Al-Ahli, Zakaria joined Montenegrin First League powerhouse FK Sutjeska Nikšić for the 2018-19 season and played a key role in their league title victory, scoring 3 goals in 23 matches. He then had further loan stints with Moroccan club IR Tanger and Algeria’s CS Constantine before returning to Al-Ahli Tripoli in 2021. Zakaria returned to Montenegro in 2022 and signed permanently with former club Sutjeska Nikšić. Since making his debut for Libya in 2017, Zakaria has won 11 caps for the national team and has appeared in the 2018 & 2020 African Nations Championship squads.
