Grenada 2017-18 Home Jersey/Shirt
£29.99
This is an Admiral Grenada national team home jersey as worn by the ‘The Spice Boys’ throughout the 2017-18 period.
Football in Grenada has a long history, with the Grenada Football Association being formed in 1924 and the national team playing their first match in 1934. Nicknamed The Spice Boys in reference to Grenada’s famed spice production, the team competes in CONCACAF and Caribbean Football Union competitions but has never qualified for a FIFA World Cup. They have, however, appeared in the CONCACAF Gold Cup three times (2009, 2011, 2021) and have competed in both League A and League B of the CONCACAF Nations League, while also finishing as runners-up in the Caribbean Cup on two occasions. The national team squad has traditionally maintained a mix of domestic-based players and those from the overseas diaspora, who are predominantly based in the UK and the United States.
