This is a Joma Golden Lion FC 2021-22 home jersey featuring the number of star striker Kévin Parsemain.

Golden Lion are based compete in the Martinique Division d'Honneur and are based in the town of Saint-Joseph, which is located just outside Martinique’s capital city, Fort-de-France. Golden Lion were formed in 1947, however have recently emerged in the past decade as a force in Martiniquais football, having won their maiden league title in the 2014-15 season. The club has since won a further 4 league titles, including in the past 3 seasons consecutively and have also won the Coupe de la Martinique in 2015-16 & 2018-19.

Kévin Parsemain is one of the Martinique’s most celebrated footballers, having had a prolific career at both club and international level.  He began his club career in Martinique with local giants Club Franciscain in 2004 and then went on to play in France with spells at Le Mans B and Evian before returning to Martinique in 2009. He had five successful seasons with Rivière-Pilote in Martinique and once again moved overseas to sign with MLS club Seattle Sounders in 2014, where he had a promising start before suffering a serious knee injury. In August 2015, in a surprise move he joined Kinshasa-based club DC Motema Pembe for the 2015-16 Linafoot season, having a strong season before leaving in April 2016 due to delayed payments by the club. Following this, he joined Golden Lion FC in Martinique, where has remained since, except for a one-season spell with Thai club Ayutthaya United in 2019-20. At international level, Parsemain has scored 35 goals in 56 matches for Martinique since his debut in 2008 and is the national team’s all-time top goalscorer as well as their 5th most-capped player.
