This is a Nike AS Central Sport 2017-18 home jersey featuring the number of star defender Peter Babka.

AS Central Sport compete in Tahiti’s Ligue 1 and are based in Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia. They are the most successful club in the history of Tahitian football, having won the league title on 21 occasions in addition to winning the Tahiti Cup 18 times. The club was founded in 1938 by a Breton priest, who was a follower of French club Stade Rennais and thus the club intertied their colours. After a period of decline following their 1985 league title, the club won the 2017-18 league title, breaking a 33-year drought.

Peter Babka is one of the key members of the current AS Central Sport squad and is also well-known as being one of the top taekwondo athletes in Tahiti. He joined the club in 2016 an formed an integral part of Central’s title-winning defense in the 2017-18 season.
