This is a 7SABER Uzbekistan 2026 national team home jersey featuring the name and number of star winger Abbosbek Fayzullaev.
Uzbekistan have established themselves as the most successful national team in Central Asia since their first international match as an independent nation in 1992. They made history in 2025 by qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which marked their first appearance at the tournament. This result is built upon years of continual improvement, with Uzbekistan having qualified for every AFC Asian Cup since 1996, where they have progressed past the group stages in the past five tournaments. At youth level, they have qualified for the U-17 World Cup and U-20 World Cup in recent years, and with a number of young players coming through their ranks, there is a strong chance that they will continue to develop in the years ahead.
Abbosbek Fayzullaev is one of the star players in the emerging golden generation of Uzbek football and the 23-year-old has already made a huge impact at both club and international level. Fayzullaev began his professional career with Pakhtakor Tashkent, making his debut in May 2021. During his tenure, he contributed to the team’s success, securing three consecutive Uzbekistan Super League titles from 2021 to 2023 and clinching the Uzbekistan Super Cup in 2022. In August 2023, he transferred to CSKA Moscow, where he quickly made an impact by scoring his first goal for the club in September of the same year. After a successful two-season stint in Russia, he signed with Turkish powerhouse İstanbul Başakşehir in 2025, where he has continued to perform strongly. Internationally, Fayzullaev has been a standout performer for Uzbekistan. He played a pivotal role in the national youth teams, notably leading the U20 squad to victory in the 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup, where he was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. He made his senior national team debut in June 2023 and has since earned 35 caps, scoring 9 goals. His notable performances include scoring two goals during the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and in 2026 he made history by scoring his country's first ever World Cup goal in a 1–3 defeat to Colombia in their opening match of the tournament.
