£34.99
This is an Adidas United Arab Emirates national team 2026 home jersey featuring the name and number of star striker Sultan Adil.
The UAE national team achieved some success in the 1990s by qualifying for the 1990 World Cup and finishing second in the 1996 Asian Cup, however since then the team had struggled many years before rising again in 2015. This tournament saw them stun defending champions Japan in the Quarter-Finals with a victory on penalties before losing to eventual champions Australia in the semi-finals to finish in 3rd place. They followed this up with a 4th place finish as they hosted the 2019 Asian Cup, however since then their progress has been limited with the UAE struggling to replace their ageing golden generation from the 2015 era.
Sultan Adil is one of the most promising footballers to emerge from the UAE in recent years and the 21-year-old has already established himself as a key part of the national team squad. Sultan is from the city of Kalba in the Emirate of Sharjah and came up through the youth academy of local club Ittihad Kalba. He made his senior debut for Ittihad Kalba in the UAE Pro League in 2021 and quickly impressed at the top level of club football in the country. He was signed by UAE giants Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai in 2024, however had a challenging year in 2025 after being given a heavy suspension by the UAE FA for misconduct during a national team training camp. At international level, Sultan has scored 8 goals in 22 matches for the UAE since his national team debut in 2022 at just 17 years of age.
