This is an Adidas Vipers SC 2016-17 home jersey featuring the name and number of star winger Milton Karisa.
Vipers Sports Club compete in the Ugandan Premier League and are based in the town of Kitende, located in the outskirts of Uganda’s capital Kampala. The club were founded in 1978, however did not play in Uganda’s top tier until being promoted for the 2006 season. Since then, Vipers SC have become one of Uganda’s strongest clubs, winning the league title 6 times (2010, 2015, 2017-18, 2019-20, 2021–22 & 2022–23) as well as the Ugandan Cup on 3 occasions (2015–16, 2019–20 & 2022–23).
Milton Karisa is one of the leading players in the current generation of Ugandan football and the 29-year-old has already had a solid career at club & international level. He began his senior club career in 2013 with BUL FC in his hometown of Jinja before signing with Vipers SC in 2016. Karisa played an important role in Vipers’ successful 2017-18 league campaign and was signed by Moroccan Botola club MC Oujda in Septmeber 2018. After scoring 4 goals in 22 matches over two seasons in Morocco, Karisa returned to Vipers SC in February 2020. Since debuting for Uganda’s national team in 2017, he has played a total of 42 matches and scored 6 goals.
