Tobago 2024 Home Jersey/Shirt

£29.99

This is a Tobago national team home jersey as worn by the team throughout the 2024 period.

The Tobago national team represents the island of Tobago and competes separately to the FIFA-affiliated Trinidad & Tobago national team in select local tournaments. Tobago is the smaller of the two islands that make up the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, with the island having a population of around 60,000 (compared to 1.25 million in Trinidad). Tobago is located 35 kilometers northeast of Trinidad and has a distinctly unique culture and language compared to their larger neighbors. The Tobago Football Association is the governing body for football on the island and organizes the Tobago Football League. There have been several Tobago-based clubs that have competed in the national TT Premier Football League, with Tobago United FC joining the league in 2003 and eventually disbanding in 2011. 1976 FC Phoenix Tobago won promotion to the top tier in 2023 and are currently the only club outside Trinidad to compete in the league. Arguably the most famous person to come from Tobago is former Manchester United star Dwight Yorke, with the main stadium in Tobago being named the Dwight Yorke Stadium in his honor. In April 2024, the Tobago national team competed in the San Fernando Mayor’s Cup, marking the first competitive football competition for an all Tobago squad in almost 10 years.
