This is a Joma Transnistria national team home jersey as worn by the team throughout the 2022-23 period.

Transnistria, officially the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), is an unrecognised breakaway state that is internationally recognised as part of Moldova. The Government of Transnistria controls most of the narrow strip of land between the Dniester River and the Moldovan–Ukrainian border, operating as a de-facto independent presidential republic with their own functions of government, including national symbols, currency, police and military. The territory has a population of around 350,000, with their capital city of Tiraspol home to an estimated 133,000 people. Transnistria has a national football federation, which organises a local league and their representative team that competes in the biennial Moldovan UEFA Regions Cup qualifying tournament against other regions of Moldova. Transnistrian football, and possibly even the entire territory is best known for the recent success of FC Sheriff Tiraspol, a club based in Transnistria and competes in the top tier of Moldovan football. The club has dominated the Moldovan Super Liga, winning 20 of the past 22 league titles since their first title in the 2000-01 season. Sheriff Tiraspol has performed consistently strongly in European football given the relative weakness of Moldovan football in the continent; however, it wasn’t until their 2021-22 UEFA Champions League campaign that they gained worldwide attention. Sheriff became the first Moldovan team to qualify for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League after a 3–0 aggregate win over Dinamo Zagreb and were drawn into difficult group. They pulled off arguably the biggest upset in the history of the tournament when they defeated eventual champions Real Madrid 2-1 away at the Santiago Bernabéu, and although they eventually finished 3rd in the group, Sherriff certainly made history for Transnistrian football.
