Syria 2025 Home Jersey/Shirt

£34.99

This is a Jako Syria national team home jersey as worn by the 'Qasioun Eagles' throughout the 2025 period.

This is the first design used by the team that features the newly-adopted national colors of Syria. Following the fall of the Assad regime on 8 December 2024, the independence flag, initially adopted in 1930 during the movement for independence from France, has become the official flag of the Syrian transitional government. The independence flag began to be widely used again as a universal display of the protesting opposition in late 2011 and became a symbol of the Syria Revolution.

In recent years, Syria have assembled one of the strongest squads in their history, with the team being led by stars such as Omar Al-Soma and Omar Khribin. In addition to almost qualifying for the 2018 World Cup, Syria have qualified for the Asian Cup 7 times, most recently for the upcoming 2023 tournament, and also won the West Asian Football Federation Championship in 2012. In recent years Syria has been applauded for achieving solid results and presenting a unifying face for the country in the midst of a long period of civil conflict. The team have not hosted a game in Syria since December 2010, with their home matches being played in a range of other countries. Since around 2022, there have been a growing number of players from the Syrian diaspora in Europe and South America being called up to the national team as they look to develop a new generation of talent following their recent 'Golden Generation.'
