This is a Joma Enyimba FC 2020-21 home jersey featuring the name and number of star striker Tosin Omoyele.
Enyimba are Nigeria’s most successful club having won 8 league titles and consistently reaching the later stages of the African continental tournaments. The Aba-based club have won two CAF Champions League titles in 2003 & 2004, being the first and only Nigerian club to win the title. Most recently they reached the semi-finals of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup and won the Nigerian Professional Football League title in 2015 & 2019.
Tosin Omoyele is currently Enyimba’s leading striker and he joined the club for the 2020-21 season following a stint with Egyptian Club Nogoom FC. The 24-year-old began his career in his hometown of Lagos with COD United, joining their youth academy in 2012 and later debuting for their first team in 2015, where he scored 6 goals in 10 matches to attract the interest of rival clubs. In 2016 he signed with 2nd tier club Osun United and continued to develop, scoring 17 goals in 30 matches during the 2016 season. Omoyele earned the attention of top tier giants Plateau United FC and joined the club in 2017, where he scored 9 goals in 28 matches. This was followed by a short stint with Nogoom FC and he returned to Nigeria to sign with Enyimba in September 2020.
