Nicaragua 2016-17 Home (#9- CADENA) Jersey/Shirt

This is a Joma Nicaragua national team 2017-18 home jersey featuring the number of star striker Daniel Cadena.

Cadena has been one of Nicaragua’s most prominent players over the past decade and is one of the few Nicaraguan footballers to play professional outside the region. The 32-year-old veteran has spent the majority of his club career playing in Nicaragua and Spain, where he currently plays for Tercera División club Mérida AD. Although born in Spain he made the decision to represent Nicaragua at international level in 2014 after playing for several years in Nicaragua’s Liga Primera.

Nicaragua’s national team have had little success at over the years, however have shown improvement in recent years, achieving a 5^th place finish at the 2017 Copa Centroamericana, a 4^th place finish at the 2017 Central American Games and also reaching an all-time high FIFA ranking of 92 in December 2015.
