This is an Adidas Libya national team 2025 home jersey featuring the number of star striker Ahmed Krawa’a.
Despite experiencing widespread political instability in recent years, Libya have defied the odds and achieved some of their best results during this time. Their greatest achievement was winning the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN), where they upset Ghana in the final. They later finished in 4th place at CHAN in 2018, losing the semi-final 3-1 in extra-time to eventual winners Morocco. In addition, they have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations on three occasions- in 1982, 2006 & 2012, with the team finishing runners-up as hosts of the 1982 edition.
Ahmed Krawa’a has consistently been one of the leading strikers in Libyan football for the past 15 years. He has represented several top Libyan clubs, including Al-Ittihad, Al Tarsana, Al Ahly Benghazi, and current club Al Ahli Tripoli, where he has played a key role in their recent league success. Krawa’a has twice finished as top scorer in the Libyan Premier League (2017–18 and 2022–23), cementing his reputation as one of the league’s most consistent attacking threats. At international level, Krawa’a has scored 7 goals in 20 matches for the Libya national team since making his international debut in 2009.
