Isle of Wight 2023 Home (#10- SCRIMSHAW) Jersey/Shirt

£34.99

This is a Kappa Isle of Wight representative team 2023 home jersey featuring the number of star striker Jake Scrimshaw.

The Isle of Wight representative football team represents the Isle of Wight, an island off England’s south coast. The Isle of Wight has a land area of 380 km2 and had a population of 140,794 in 2022, making it the largest and second-most populous English island. The team mainly participates in the Island Games, a multi-sport event for island communities worldwide. They have enjoyed some success at the Games, including winning the Island Games football tournament in 1995 and 2011, as well as finishing third in their most recent participation in 2023. The team is managed by the Isle of Wight Divisional Football Association (founded in 1898), who administer the local leagues. There are also several clubs from the Isle of Wight who compete at a higher regional level, the most notable being Newport (IOW) FC, who competed in the Southern League Division One South (8th tier) in the early 2000s.

Jake Scrimshaw is arguably the highest-profile player to emerge from the Isle of Wight in recent history. He came through AFC Bournemouth’s academy and spent time on loan at various club in League Two and the National League before moving into non-league football in the past few years. He represented the Isle of Wight at the 2023 Island Games, winning the tournament’s Golden Boot with 7 goals in 5 appearances.
