This is a Puma Guinea national team 2024 home jersey featuring the name and number of star midfielder and captain Naby Keïta.

Keïta is arguably the greatest player in the history of Guinean football, having had a prolific career playing in some of the world's top leagues. Born in Conakry, the capital city of Guinea, he began his junior career with local giants Horoya AC. In 2012, he moved to France and signed with Ligue 2 club FC Istres, before making waves at Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg and later at Bundesliga club RB Leipzig. His impressive performances in Germany attracted the attention of some of the world’s top clubs and in 2018 he signed with Liverpool in a transfer worth at least £48 million, at the time making him the most expensive African player of all-time. After 5 seasons at Liverpool, Keita joined Bundesliga club Werder Bremen in June 2023. At international level, he has been a key part of the national team since debuting in 2013, scoring 12 goals in 58 international matches.

Guinea have consistently been a solid performer at international level, regularly reaching the knockout stages of AFCON, however they have yet to qualify for a World Cup. Their current squad, led by Keïta contains a host of players competing in Europe’s top leagues and hopes are high in Guinea that qualification for the World Cup may be on the horizon.
