The Bailiwick of Guernsey is a crown dependency located in the Channel Islands, which although not a part of the United Kingdom, it falls under their responsibility despite maintaining strong autonomy as well as a distinctly unique culture amongst a population of 63,950. The Guernsey representative football team has a long history, with the majority of their official matches being played in the Muratti Vase against local Channel Island teams from Alderney and Jersey. Since the first Muratti Vase in 1905, Guernsey have won the competition 46 times, with their most recent title won in 2017. They are also regular participants in the Island Games football tournament and are the 2nd most successful team in the competition’s history, having won on 3 occasions.
