Georgia 2023-24 Home Jersey/Shirt

£29.99

This is a Macron Georgia national team home jersey as worn by 'Jvarosnebi (Crusaders)' throughout the 2023-24 period.

Georgia’s national team played their first international match in 1990, at a time when they were still part of the Soviet Union. Following their secession in April 1991, Georgia then began to formalize their football system as an independent state and became a member of both UEFA & FIFA in 1992. They have competed at every World Cup and Euro qualification campaign since Euro 1996, however did not qualify for a major tournament until their historic breakthrough in 2024. They have maintained a competitive national team over the years and have shown significant progress in recent qualification campaigns, which culminated in their qualification for Euro 2024. To reach the tournament they had to face Greece in the final qualification play-off match and after a tense 0-0 draw they won on penalties in front of their home fans in Tbilisi. With a current squad containing a golden generation that play in some of Europe's top leagues, hopes are high that Georgia can continue on their remarkable development in the coming years.
