This is an Errea Mekelle 70 Enderta 2018-19 home jersey featuring the number of star striker Amanuel Gebremichael.

Mekelle 70 Enderta F.C. are based in the city of Mekelle, the capital of the Tigray Region in Northern Ethiopia and compete in the Ethiopian Premier League. The club were founded in 2007 and quickly established themselves as a force in Ethiopian football. Mekelle 70 Enderta were only promoted to the 1st tier of football in Ethiopia after finishing second in the 2016-17 Ethiopian Higher League season and made their top-tier debut for the 2017-18 season. They surprised many by finishing 4th in their maiden season in the league, however managed to go a step further in the 2018-19 season by pulling off a remarkable upset to win the Ethiopian Premier League title. In the following season, Mekelle were 3rd on the league table before the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Beginning in 2020, the Tigray War devastated Mekelle, which was cut off from the rest of the country until the war ended in November 2022. During this period, all clubs in the region stopped their activities and many of the players joined the fighting. After a long wait, Mekelle 70 Enderta returned to the Ethiopian Premier League for the 2024-25 season, where they have performed admirably, brining joy to home fans after a period of immense challenge for their city. 

Amanuel Gebremichael has been one the most exciting players to emerge from the Ethiopian domestic football system in recent years. Despite being just 20-years-old at the time, Gebremichael won the Ethiopian Premier League Golden Boot award for the 2018-19 season, where he scored a total of 18 goals and played an important role in his clubs’ title victory. He made his debut for the Ethiopia aged just 18 in 2017 and has since become a regular starter for the Walias, having scored 7 goals in 40 matches for the national team. Gebremichael joined Ethiopian giants Saint George in 2020 and currently plays for Fasil Kenema.
