Agrupación Deportiva Ceuta Fútbol Club, or AD Ceuta FC, is a Spanish football club based in the autonomous city of Ceuta, founded in 1956 after the merger of Sociedad Deportiva Ceuta and Atlético Tetuán. Ceuta is one of two autonomous cities of Spain, located on the Morocco–Spain border as an exclave of Spain within the African mainland. Ceuta was retained by Spain as an exclave when Morocco attained independence in 1956, although Morocco has never recognised Spain’s sovereignty over Ceuta. Long fluctuating in the lower tiers, AD Ceuta achieved a meteoric rise in recent years—earning promotion from Tercera División in 2021, returning to the third tier for the first time since 1970, before topping Primera Federación Group 2 in the 2024–25 season and sealing a historic promotion to Spain’s Segunda División for the 2025-26 season.
