British Virgin Islands 2017-18 Home (#9- JOHNSON) Jersey/Shirt
£34.99
This is an Admiral British Virgin Islands national team 2017-18 home jersey featuring the number of star striker Jordan Johnson.
With a population of just over 30,000, it will always be difficult for BVI to produce a competitive national team and they are usually considered to be one of the weaker teams in CONCACAF. They have never reached a FIFA ranking higher than 160 and are currently one of the world’s lowest ranked teams sitting at 208. The British Virgin Islands played their first international match in 1991 and have won a total of 14 matches in their history. They have not won a match since 2012, when they defeated Anguilla 1-0 in a friendly.
Jordan Johnson is one of the highest-profile footballers to represent the British Virgin Islands in recent years and has had a prolific club career playing throughout a range of clubs in England’s lower leagues. Johnson currently plays for Northern Premier League club Leek Town, where he has spent the majority of the career. At international level, Johnson committed to representing the British Virgin Islands in 2015 and has since scored 4 goals in 7 national team matches.
