This is a Joma Khaleej FC 2016-17 away jersey featuring the name and number of star midfielder Alexander López.

Honduran midfielder Alexander López played for Khaleej in the 2016-17 when the club were competing in the Saudi Pro League and was a key member of the squad as they faced far more established opponents in Saudi’s 1st tier. The 27-year-old began his club career in Honduras with local giants C.D. Olimpia before moving to MLS club Houston Dynamo in 2013. He joined Khaleej in 2016 but returned back to C.D. Olimpia in 2017 and now plays with Costa Rican powerhouse Alajuelense. At international level, he has represented Honduras 28 times and played in 3 CONCACAF Gold Cups.

Khaleej FC are based in Saihat in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and compete in the MS League- the 2nd tier of Saudi football. The club was founded in 1945 and have a long history as the most popular club in the region, however have spent the majority of the past few decades in the 2nd tier. The greatest recent achievement was their 2nd tier title victory in 2005-06, with the club also finishing runner-up in the same league in the 2002-03 & 2013-14 seasons
