Rwanda 2015 Home (BIZIMANA #4) Jersey/Shirt

£29.99

This is an AMS Clothing Rwanda national team 2015 home jersey featuring the name and number of star midfielder Djihad Bizimana.

Rwanda’s success at international level has been limited, with the national team only qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations once in 2004. At youth level, they qualified for the 2011 U-17 World Cup after finishing second at the 2011 African U-17 Championship. Other achievements for Rwanda include reaching the Quarter-Finals when they hosted the 2016 African Nations Championship and winning the 1999 CECAFA Cup, although technically this was won by the Rwanda ‘B’ team with their ‘A’ team finishing third.

Djihad Bizimana is presently the only Rwandan footballer to be competing in a major first-tier league in Europe, with the 26-year-old currently playing for Belgian First Division B club KMSK Deinze. Bizimina made the move to Belgium directly from Rwandan giants APR FC and initially spent three seasons at 1st tier club Waasland-Beveren before making the move to Deinze in May 2021. At international level, he has been a key part of the Rwanda national team squad since making his debut in 2015. He has played a total of 51 matches for the Amavubi, scoring his only international goal in a 2022 World Cup qualifier against Seychelles.
