Malawi 2016-17 Away Jersey/Shirt

This is an Umbro Malawi national team away jersey as worn by the team throughout the 2016-17 period.

Malawi have traditionally been relatively consistent at international level, qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations three times (in 1984, 2010 & 2021) as well as finishing runners-up in the COSAFA Cup on two occasions (2002 & 2003). Their only major achievement in recent years was winning the COSAFA Cup Plate in 2015, the secondary tournament for teams that did not make it past the quarter-finals of the competition.
