This is a Puma Liberia national team 2021-22 away jersey featuring the number of star midfielder Oscar Dorley.

Dorley is one of the leading players in the current generation of Liberian football and one of the few Liberians to be currently playing for a top-tier European club. The 23-year-old began his career with local side Monrovia Club Breweries before moving to Lithuanian club FK Riteriai in 2016. He performed strongly in Lithuania and attracted the attention of Czech club Slovan Liberec, who signed him on loan in 2018 and made the move permanent in early 2019. After continuing to impress at Slovan Liberec, Dorley was signed by Czech giants Slavia Prague in August 2019, where he has won 2 league titles and competed in the UEFA Europa League. At international level, Dorley has played 25 matches and scored 2 goals since making his debut for Liberia in 2015

Liberia is most known for producing 1995 FIFA World Player of the Year (and current President) George Weah, who guided his country to their only Africa Cup of Nations appearances in 1996 and 2002. Outside of these achievements, Liberia have found it difficult to compete against their rivals in the strong West African region, however a promising 2019 AFCON qualifying campaign saw them just miss out on returning to the tournament for the third time.
