Liberia 2016-17 Home (#10- JEBOR) Jersey/Shirt

£29.99

XL

This is an Adidas Liberia national team 2016-17 home jersey featuring the number of star striker William Jebor.

Jebor has a remarkable scoring record at both club and national team level, scoring 12 goals in 18 international matches and he has scored a total of 81 goals in 130 senior matches at club level for a number of different clubs. Jebor has played in an incredibly wide range of countries since starting his career at Liberia’s LPRC Oilers in 2008. He has played in Syria, Egypt, Libya, Portugal, Spain, Morocco and Saudi Arabia, but has probably played his best football at Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca, where he played in two stints in both 2016-17 & 2018-19. Jebor had seemingly retired from football since leaving Al-Fujairah SC in the UAE in August 2019 at just 28 years of age, however after a three year break he signed with Estonia top tier club Nõmme Kalju in 2022.

Liberia is most known for producing 1995 FIFA World Player of the Year (and current President) George Weah, who guided his country to their only Africa Cup of Nations appearances in 1996 and 2002. Outside of these achievements, Liberia have found it difficult to compete against their rivals in the strong West African region, however a promising 2019 AFCON qualifying campaign saw them just miss out on returning to the tournament for the third time.
