Club Sportif et Culturel de Cayenne (usually referred to as CSC Cayenne) compete in the Championnat de Guyane de Football and are based in Cayenne, the capital city of French Guiana. CSC Cayenne were founded in 1947 as ‘AS Club Colonial’ and are one of the oldest and most successful clubs in French Guiana. They have won a total of 7 league titles, with their most recent title coming in the 2014-15 season, which broke a title drought of almost 20 years. CSC Cayenne have also won 7 Coupe de Guyane titles, however their most recent cup title was in 1996/97 as both the league and cup competitions have largely been dominated by ASC Le Geldar and US Matoury in recent decades.
