Antigua & Barbuda 2017-18 Home (#17- ROMEO) Jersey/Shirt

This is an Admiral Antigua & Barbuda national team 2017-18 home jersey featuring the number of star defender Mahlon Romeo.

Antigua & Barbuda have achieved limited success at international level, however have established themselves as one of the stronger teams in the Caribbean region in recent years. Despite their population of only 96,000 Antigua & Barbuda have outperformed their much larger local rivals throughout their history. The team’s strongest periods have been 1980s, which included a runner-up finish in the 1988 CFU Caribbean Championship, and also the early 2010s, where they performed strongly in the qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup.

Mahlon Romeo is one of the most high-profile players in the current Antigua & Barbuda squad. The 25-year-old defender plays his club football for Millwall in England’s Championship, where he has been an important part of the squad since joining the club in 2015. Romeo was born in England, but was eligible to represent the Antigua & Barbuda national team through his grandparents and he made his international debut for The Benna Boys in 2015. He has since played 12 matches for the national team and is one of the several England-born players to be in the current squad.
