Al-Nassr are based in the city of Riyadh and compete in the Saudi Pro League. They are one of the most popular and successful clubs in Saudi Arabia, having won a total of 9 league titles and 6 Kings Cup titles. After a less successful spell during the late 1990s and 2000s, the club has recently re-emerged as one of the strongest in Saudi Arabia, winning the league title in the 2013/14, 2014/15 & 2018/19 seasons. Outside of the domestic competitions, Al-Nassr have achieved success in regional tournaments, winning the GCC Champions League in 1996 & 1997 and also finishing runners-up in the 1995 AFC Champions League.
