This is a Mouj Al-Hilal 2019 home jersey featuring the name and number of star striker Bafétimbi Gomis.

Bafétimbi Gomis has had a prolific club career playing in some of the world’s top leagues, with the 35-year-old playing mostly in France’s Ligue 1 as well as stints in England with Swansea City and for Turkish giants Galatasaray. He began his career in 2004 with Saint-Étienne and after 6 strong seasons, he attracted the attention of Ligue 1 giants Lyon, where he played from 2009-2014. From there, he joined English Premier League club Swansea City, later joining Marseille on loan in the 2016-17 season, where he scored an impressive 20 goals in 32 matches. He signed with Galatasaray in the following season and was the league top scorer with 29 goals from 33 games. In 2018, he signed with Al-Hilal and has made a huge impact, including scoring in the 2019 AFC Champions League final and finishing his debut season with 21 league goals.

Al-Hilal are the most successful club in Saudi Arabia, having won the Saudi league title a record 17 times and the Crown Prince Cup on 13 occasions. They have also won 6 Asian Football Confederation trophies, including the AFC Champions League in 1991 and 2000. Al-Hilal are one of the most supported clubs in the Middle East and have a passionate supporter base, with matches against local rivals Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr being fiercely contested battles amongst both players and fans. After recently experiencing heartbreak in the AFC Champions League, finishing runners-up in both 2014 & 2017, they finally succeeded in winning their breakthrough title victory in 2019, when they defeated Japanese club Urawa Red Diamonds 3-0 on aggregate.
