This is an Adidas Republic of Congo 2017-18 national team home jersey featuring the name and number of star striker Thievy Bifouma.

The Republic of Congo have a proud footballing history, having won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1972 and consistently qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations. Their squad often is mostly comprised of players from the top tiers in Europe, however they are yet to qualify for a FIFA World Cup despite getting close on many occasions.

Thievy Bifouma is the most prominent player in the current generation of Congolese football and is the all-time leading scorer for the national team with 15 goals from 31 international matches. He currently plays for Chinese Super League club Shenzhen FC and has previously played in the top tiers of Spain, England, Turkey and France.
