Barrack Young Controllers 2018 Home (#9- TAYLOR) Jersey/Shirt

£29.99

This is a Joma Barrack Young Controllers (BYC) FC 2018-19 home jersey featuring the number of star striker Robert Taylor Jr.

BYC compete in the Liberian Premier League and are based in Monrovia, the capital of the country. They have been Liberia’s strongest club in recent years, winning the league title in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018. Another sign of their strength is that their reserve side won the Liberian FA Cup in 2015, which surely is an unprecedented achievement in world football. The team are supported by club chairman Robert Sirleaf, the son of Liberia’s former president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, with the Robert A. Sirleaf Foundation being the club’s major sponsor.

Robert Taylor Jr. is one of Liberia’s most promising young players and the 19-year-old has already established himself as a key member of the BYC squad. He initially signed for the BYC reserve team in 2016 and was quickly promoted to the first team in 2017. Taylor Jr. has continued to improve and is expected to be called-up to the Liberia national team in the coming years.
